Former Ripple CBDC adviser Anthony Welfare says the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) has the technology to support large-scale banking and cross-border payments. But there is a catch.
He believes that strong technology does not automatically lead to overall institutional adoption or guarantee gains in $XRP’s price.

Speaking on the AllinCrypto Podcast, Welfare said XRPL can support cross-border payments, tokenized assets, and fast, low-cost transactions. He sees no fundamental reason the network cannot scale to meet the needs of banks, payment systems, and governments.
