The collaboration between global alternative asset manager Brevan Howard and Ripple has been expanded. Under the new agreement, Ripple Prime will provide core brokerage, clearing, and financing services across multiple asset classes to funds managed by Brevan Howard.
Brevan Howard will receive multi-asset brokerage, exchange, and financing services through Ripple Prime. The agreement could expand Ripple’s position in the corporate finance space.
The main brokerage system, called Prime Brokerage, helps large mutual funds trade in different markets, manage their collateral, access financing, and track their transactions through a common infrastructure. Ripple Prime is planned to offer a unified service encompassing both traditional financial products and digital assets.
