Hyperliquid has notched up another record with the total number of open positions at an all time high. Data from HyperTracker shows 435,564 open perpetual futures positions on the platform as of October 6. At the start of the year, this number was at 202,943 which is around a 115% growth in just over nine months.
The number of active traders on the platform has grown at a similar pace as well. HyperTracker shows that there are around 320,600 active traders on the platform at the moment. Active traders here are counted as any wallet with an open position or perp volume in the last 30 days. That number sat closer to 155,000 in early January and is now within a few thousand of its all- time high.
