Binance Futures announced that it will remove the USDⓈ-M ALPHAUSDT perpetual futures contract from the platform on September 23, 2025.
Binance Futures Deletes ALPHAUSDT Futures Contract
According to the exchange's announcement, all open positions will be closed and automatically liquidated at 12:00 PM on September 23. Following this process, the contract will be completely delisted.
To avoid potential risks, users are advised to close their open positions before the delisting process begins. Furthermore, opening new positions will be blocked after 11:30 AM.
Binance also shared important details about the liquidation process. The Futures Insurance Fund will not be used in the last hour, and any liquidations made during this period will be transferred to the market all at once via the Immediate or Cancel Order (IOCO) method.
If users' account balances do not meet the required maintenance margin, remaining positions will be closed using the Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) mechanism. Therefore, investors are urged to carefully monitor their positions, particularly in the last hour, to mitigate the risks of high volatility and low liquidity.
Binance also announced that it may implement additional measures to protect users during extreme market volatility. This could include changes to maximum leverage, margin requirements, funding rates, and price indexes.
This move by Binance is considered part of its strategy to ensure market security and minimize user risks.
